Holt Crow Sculpture Table Lamp with Edison Bulb

A resin crow holding a lit Edison bulb in its beak — a lamp that is mostly a sculpture, and a sculpture that happens to light the corner of a room.

Key Features

• Crow With a Bulb: A moulded resin crow, feathers modelled in relief, with a filament bulb hanging from its beak on a short cord. The bird does the work; the bulb does the glowing.
• Standing or Sitting: Choose the crow upright on its feet or settled down low. The photographs show the standing bird.
• Black or White: The black crow is the one you expect; the white one reads more like a plaster cast. Both are the same price.
• Exposed Edison Bulb: The bulb is part of the look, so the light is warm, low and a little theatrical.
• Table Scale: Sized for a bookshelf, a console or a bedside table, not a floor.

Why You'll Love It

• People will comment on it. That is rather the point.
• The bulb is a soft filament, so it is a mood light rather than a reading light.
• Standing suits a shelf; sitting suits a low table where you see it from above.
• Black on a pale wall is the version that photographs best.
• Not for a house with a cat that hunts things on shelves.
