Finch Ceramic Bird Semi-Flush Ceiling Light with Fluted Glass

A brass hoop hung close under the ceiling, a fluted glass shade inside it, and a small white ceramic bird perched on the ring as if it had just landed.

Key Features

• Bird on the Ring: A small white ceramic bird sits on the metal hoop. It is the whole personality of the piece and it reads clearly from across a room.
• Fluted Clear Glass: The shade inside the ring is ribbed clear glass, so the bulb throws fine vertical lines of light rather than a flat glow.
• Semi-Flush, Not a Pendant: The ring hangs just beneath a black ceiling canopy. It is a ceiling light for a normal-height room, not a drop pendant.
• Five Finishes: Brass and black together, all black, all brass, white, or nickel for the ring and canopy. The bird stays white.
• One Size: 23cm across and 27cm tall, which is right for a bedroom, a nursery or a small hallway.

Why You'll Love It

• Children point at the bird. Adults do too, they just pretend not to.
• The ribbed glass makes the light flatter than a bare bulb in the same spot.
• It sits close to the ceiling, so it works in a room where a pendant would hang in your face.
• Brass and black together is the version in the photographs — the others change the ring, not the bird.
• Measure your ceiling rose position first; 23cm across is small and it wants to be centred.
