Dune Rippled Rattan Pendant Light

A wide, shallow woven rattan shade whose edge rises and falls in a slow wave — light comes through the weave and the ripple shows in the shadow it casts.

Key Features

• Rippled Edge: The rim of the shade undulates rather than sitting flat, so the silhouette changes as you walk around it.
• Woven Rattan: Natural tan rattan in an open weave. The light that comes through is warm and broken up, not flat.
• Wide and Shallow: A low, broad shade that spreads light across a table rather than pooling it.
• Slim Cord: A thin suspension cord so the shade appears to float.
• Three Sizes: 30, 40 and 50cm across, so it works from a bedside to a dining table.

Why You'll Love It

• The shadow it throws on the ceiling has the same wave in it.
• The 50cm goes over a dining table; the 30cm is happiest over a bedside or in a pair.
• Rattan warms up any light you put in it — even a cool bulb looks friendlier.
• It is very light, so it hangs straight and stays straight.
• Natural rattan varies a little from piece to piece, which is rather the point.
